A mother of four and owner of her own business for several decades, Debby has basically been on the go since 1980. When she and husband of 35 years, Kevin, became empty nesters several years ago they decided to head west for a new adventure. For Debby, that meant continuing to decorate on the east coast and sporadically around the country from a home base in Seattle.

Spending 1-2 weeks on the east coast and traveling to and from their winter cottage in Palm Springs provided ample time to take up a new hobby, and that was how WhooKnits came about! Debbys long transcontinental flights are the perfect amount of time to complete her hand-made, wool winter hats. Though her knitting career started as a hobby, WhooKnits hats are now available on Etsy by popular demand!
